Took a little trip up to Baker rink with Vincent’s hockey team for a Princeton vs. Harvard hockey game. Such a beautiful campus & the rink was gorgeous as well.

Sunrise with Jordan

Woke Jordan up early to go see the sunrise. She was more excited to see all the shells on the beach than the actual sunrise. No one else in the world would wake up with me except for Jordan. That’s my girl.

Father Daughter Dance

John Paul II hosted a Father-Daughter Dance this year. The theme was butterfly kisses. Jordan and her dad attended, of course. I took her to Sweet and Sassy in the afternoon to get her hair done. She had a wrist corsage and I ordered him a boutineer. I’m pretty sure he was the only father wearing one. Jordan kept going into the bathroom and “watering” her corsage in the sink. They had a great time.

John Paul II Fashion Show (2011)

Both of the kids were in the school Fashion Show this year. Jordan wanted to walk by herself and Declan wanted to walk with his cousin, John Patrick. Unfortunately, neither happened. Declan walked with two girls he did not know and Jordan practically ran down the aisle way in front of the girls she was walking with to make it appear as if she was walking by herself. She had the place roaring with laughter. I was 13 shades of red. All of the kids looked adorable and did a wonderful job.

Peanut’s 1st Grade Class Trip

The class trip this year was to The Academy of Natural Sciences. Mom had to work so Dad spent the day there.

Jordan Turns 7

Jordan chose to have her 7th birthday party at the Flyers Skate Zone, where she takes ice skating lessons. Most of the kids in her class have never ice skated before so it was a bit of an adventure. At least we can say it was fun for both the kids and the parents.

New Years Eve 2010

Penns Landing had fireworks at 6:00 this year and again at midnight. We took the kids to the 6:00 fireworks and went to a friend’s house for a party later. The fireworks were great despite the frigid weather. We were right on the water which made it even colder. We stayed on the Camden side to avoid the Philadelphia traffic. Grandpop, Lisa, Michael and Vincent came with us as well.

Hockey Practice Outside

Our Biggest Tree Ever

This year, we tagged the tallest tree ever. We always get a short, fat tree & it makes mom miserable. Even though the tall tree took up 3/4 of the family room, it was the best thing too look at. It was the talk of the town and so much fun. It brought a ton of Christmas spirit to our family.
