The kindergarten class of ‘09 is responsible for making a prayer blanket. Each student brings home the blanket for one weekend and is responsible for one “cloth” on the blanket. The theme is “helping hands”. I was at a complete loss for an idea so I posted it on Facebook. Low and behold, and old friend, Michelle (who I just so happened to go to catholic grammar school with) gave me the idea of “Life is Fragile, Handle with Prayer”. It fit in perfectly with the theme. Off to AC Moore we went and here is the result. Not too bad! Thanks Michelle!!!

Fall/Winter Photos

November 11, 2009

Took the kids out again for some Fall and Winter photos. I asked John to get in a few of them. Here are some of them:

This year the kids got to participate in their school Halloween parades. I went early to help the kids with their costumes and with the parties. Jordan was Storm from X-Men and Declan was Wolverine from X-Men. Here are a few photos:

Again this year we went trick or treating with the neighbors/friends. It rained a lot of the time but we still had fun. I guess it was the beer we brought that made it so great. We went to nearby townhouses to get more bang for our buck. Nick bought some hay for his trailer and we went on a hayride through the woods. After trick or treating, we went back to Steve and Celeste’s house for some food and to watch the Phillies game. Very fun!

Went to the Medford parade again. Unfortunately it rained on Saturday, when it was originally scheduled, but Sunday was beautiful. We took the kids out for golf, ate a good dinner, then went to the parade. Since I seem to have lost my brain, I forgot to bring a camera. Here are the pictures from last year since I have none from this year ;(
